Lift Chair FAQ

Lift Chair Troubleshooting

1. Is the chair receiving power?

Ensure the chair is plugged into a working outlet, check the power cord, and inspect for any visible damage.

2. Is the remote control working?

Check if the remote is properly connected, replace the batteries if needed, and inspect for any visible damage.

3. Are there any loose or disconnected wires?

Inspect underneath and behind the chair for any loose or disconnected cables and ensure they are securely connected.

4. Do you hear any noises?

If you hear clicking or buzzing, the motor may be jammed. If there is no sound, the motor might not be receiving power.

5. Have you tried resetting the chair?

Unplug the chair for 5-10 minutes and plug it back in. Some models have a reset button you can press.

6. Have you checked the motor and actuator?

If the chair moves partially or gets stuck, the motor or actuator may be failing. Look for obstructions and let it cool down if overheated.
